There are more Chinese teenagers in the web than the U.S.

China's population of Internet users exceeded the population of the United States of America. Despite the total control over the Web, which exercises the Chinese Government, by the end of June the Chinese Internet sector had more than 253 million users.

Dynamic growth in number of users impresses - since the end of last June, there was 56 percent increase in the number of users, said China Internet Network Information Center. In doing so, the number of Internet users in China is still very small and does not exceed 19.1%, which leaves room for further growth.

On-line population of the United States, according to Nielsen Online, in June amounted to 223.1 million, Internet penetration was 71%. The number of Chinese users exceeded the number of American user for the first time in the history of the Internet.
