According to comScore research, the popularity of search engines in the United States in May 2008 was as follows: Google is used for 61.8% of all queries, Yahoo! handles 20.6%, Microsoft search engines serve 8.5%, AOL and Ask Network - 4.5% each.

In doing so, Google and Yahoo! show 2% growth compared with April 2008, and contribution of Microsoft fell by 4%. In May, the Americans made 10.8 billion queries to search engines. If to take into account the additional services, for example, YouTube, eBay, Amazon, Facebook, the total number of requests is about 15.5 billion.
