Google has improved results of Flash-sites.

Google has improved results of Flash-sites

Google has improved navigation of sites that use technology Flash. Now in the snippet of Flash-sites there is a link to the site content, bypassing the entry, which often does not have any useful information, but only annoys the user. Many flash-site developers do not leave the user any choice and he has to spend time looking at the animation.

This feature isn’t the first improvement of navigation, which Google has added to its search engine. In addition to skipping Flash-saver, Google provides additional links to sections of the non-flash sites and produce "search in found", which reduces the time spent searching and number of clicks, which need to be done to go to the desired results.

USA on-line advertising market has increased.

USA on-line advertising market has increased

Despite the analysts’ predictions to lower profit growth in online advertising, the results of the first quarter of 2008 show the sustainability of the market in an overall decline in the U.S. economy.

Thus, according to research firm IDC, the total profits in online advertising during this period increased by 23.9% to $ 7.1 billion. During the first quarter of 2007, this amount was equal to $ 5.7 billion.

IDC predicts an annual growth of online advertising by 15-20% this year, despite their own forecasts on lower advertising budgets by 7%. According to the company, the U.S. market will double over the next five years.

In the opinion of IDC management, the crisis not only caused changes in the on-line advertising, but also to some extent contributed to its growth, as under economic pressure budget expenditure happens differently using new, more efficient, marketing channels, resulting in transition of many advertising campaigns to new types of sources.
