British human rights organization Privacy International intends to seek detailed information about the Google Street View technology before it is launched in Great Britain.

As you all know, Google conducts surveys for displaying the streets in real time and often the faces passers-by are visible in the images. Some users of the USA project have complained about violation of their privacy so the company started to use the "blurring" effect in their pictures.

The Privacy International organization believes that even this technology does not eliminate violations of the laws protecting users incognito that's why it needs additional information on the project. If Google doesn't provide this information PI will file a complaint to supervisory authorities requesting consideration of the legality of opening this service in the territory of Great Britain.

A few days ago the first European Street View version was opened in France.

One more ineteresting feature has been added as part of latest Google Map update which, as it turned out, fascinated the audience very much. It is “Street View” option - images from outside cameras. American blogs discuss one picture after another, and cannot stop playing with it. A guy from San Francisco has become a real star whom camara filmed when he was leaving a strip club.

Investigation revealed that the "Street View" service - a joint project of Google and Immersive Media company, which uses powerful high-resolution panoramic cameras with 360-degree angle to monitor the citizens. They travel through the city on the roofs of vans and cars. Now we know what these cameras look like.

Google introduced its new official resource devoted to advertisement in traditional media in their own performance. Now users will be able to see the latest paper, television and audio advertisement from Google's blog Let's Take it Offline.

In addition to news and presentations of its own products, "off-line" blog is designed to assist new advertisers in the organization and conduct of traditional advertising campaigns.

Google has closed two offices in Denver and Dallas. The reason for this decision was low efficiency of these units. According to the official commentary, the reorganization is done to ensure effective work both for clients of the company, its shareholders and employees.
