According to the experts, June 2008 is the first month when the spendings on the MSN AdCenter system exceeded the spendings on YSM. Several years ago, the spendings on AdWords and YSM were almost equal, in June their ratio was approximately 35 to 1. Over the past 30 days Adcenter surpassed Yahoo on indicators of conversion and CPL.

Among the reasons for this situation is not decrease of the number of clicks, but collapse in prices in the YSM and poor quality traffic, which exacerbated the decline in interest to Panama.

Sophos claims that hackers use free Google blog accounts to distribute malicious software. As reported by British newspaper The Times, unknown hackers, presumably from Eastern Europe, infected thousands of British sites among which there were even large government resources by a virus. The virus called Asprox struck, in particular, sites of 12 local municipalities, as well as the NFS Norfolk organization which deals with health.

Outsell, Inc. company analysts concluded that in 2008 the cost for companies on advertising and marketing in the U.S. will grow on 3.9%, to $ 412.4 billion. The largest increases will be observed in online advertising - 12.3%.

Outsell, Inc. researchers believe that companies would increase spending amount on their own sites. Thus, in the current year to upgrade Internet resources will take 61.8% of the total marketing budget.
