Search Engines are working on standards of conduct in China
According to Reuters agency, the American Internet companies Yahoo, Google and Microsoft have agreed on a common standards of a corporate conduct in the territory of China and other countries whose governments support Internet censorship.
Having consulted with human rights organizations, companies felt that the lack of standards is likely to harm individuals within the territory of China during the Olympic Games, as the Chinese Government may require to receive data on any Internet user.
The document, which will regulate the behavior of officials in areas prone to Internet censorship, is under construction and will be released later.
Yahoo will begin to conquer Russia.
The Yahoo company is very interested in the Russian market as a source of new opportunities for selling online advertising. In this regard, in the territory of Russia Yahoo will employ two senior level full-time executives - General Manager and Head of Product Management.
In addition to the executives, there will be about twenty sales managers to sell advertising directly. Since November 2007 the +SOL company, which is the property of SUP, has been selling the advertising on the Yahoo portal for the Russian users.

Yahoo is considering a construction of a new data center in Wenatchee, Washington. Construction will take place if the state legislature gives permission to receive tax benefits.
Vice-president of Yahoo Kevin Timmons reports that the company has chosen the place for construction of facilities for data center, which will be a copy of already existing in Quincy.
