Google will close Page Creator.

Google has reported that it stops supporting the service for the creation of web pages Google Page Creator. Subscription to the service has ended, new users can subscribe only to Google Sites, which has several functions of Page Creator.

Google Page Creator has been the basic program to create Web pages online for a long time. GDocs, Blogger and Knol give this opportunity indirectly.

According to the support group of the service, the project never went beyond the laboratory Google Labs, but has become a very useful experiment, that let to create a huge number of functions for Google Sites.

Google Sites differs from Page Creator by wide opportunities for creating a site navigation, a large number of "spots" in the form of calendars, documents and videos. Like many other Google's products, the editor allows to do joint work on the page.
